Exploring Photoshop Reflection

In the second semester of this school year we have been mainly focusing on usin the program called Photoshop. This is a great program made by Adobe which enables you to do almost anything. From making posters to modifying pictures, Photoshop can do it all. This quarter we were exploring photoshop and we did six activities to do so. We created a potato head, changed the background location of a couple, made effects on a picture of our choice and much more. This was a very good topic as it gave us all an understanding of the program and also enabled our class to produce some impressive images and posters. Now I could use photoshop in any situation without any trouble.

IB Learner Profile Reflection

The topic in which we made posters for the IB learner profile was very interesting and useful. I worked with peter and we planned to put to of the IB learner traits on each poster. We did not manage to finish the product as we were too focused on making our first and second posters look good. We had all of the information and pictures for six of the traits but we did not have time to put them all into posters. We were also quite distracted. Even though we didn't finish our products we still learned a great deal about creating posters and the process used to create them. We also gained experience in using Photoshop during this topic.

Using technology

Over the half term i used technology in many ways. when i went camping in a national park, i listened to my ipod on the long journey. When i returned form my camping trip i checked my email and facebook using my laptop and the internet dongle. At one point when a freind came to stay we plaed on the xbox which is also a source of technology.
