A blog is an internet website where you, your techers, and your parents can access and change the work that you are doing. We use blogs especially because students can work from home and then post their work on their blog and the teachers can view and mark the work without the student having to print out the work to be hand marked. I find that blogs extremely good way for techers to communicate to students as they are simple

Digital- Portfolio Research

A digital portfolio is a website which can be accessed by anybody and shows facts of the creator. It lets students, parent and teachers to view the work been set for the students and it lets them see the progress that the student is making. They are like regular portfolios however they express the information in a digital format. Digital portfolios are an advantage as they allow students to access their accounts from home and school. However a diadvantage is that to view it you must be on the internet.
A didgital portfolio example that i chose was called http://www.amazon.com/. Amazon. com sells many items and it allows people to look at things on the internet before they buy them. There are many areas in amazon such as: Electronics, Books, Games, and many more. Amazon is good because it is easy to navigate your way around the page and the font is big and easy to read. Also the images are all in one collum so you can just look down the line for the product that vyou want. Amazon is very well organised as down the right side there is a list of types of products for sale such as "Electronics" and if you are looking for a laptop then you click on that link and it takes you to the electronics section where from there you can choose the exact product.
